“The Internet has changed at least some things for the good. One for us was the chance to come across the Nightingale Jazz Band. Their sound in actual performance (at our wedding) was exactly as professional, pleasant, and stylish as when we discovered them online. Among the many usual polite compliments that we received after our wedding, the one ringing and consistent point of praise was the music. Many remarked on how cohesively the band played as an ensemble. Everyone was astounded by the vocal work of Nora Ritchie, whose rich and, dare I say, voluptuous voice sounded both classic and unique. Our first dance song was once of the best renditions of it we had heard. From a logistics end, they were a pleasure to work with. They were flexible with special requests; they coordinated independently with the site manager; and, hell, they trudged all the way from Brooklyn to Philadelphia and back with nary a complaint.
